For the ultimate light sleeper, we’ve paired the Z2 CPAP with the Qtube In-line Muffler to reduce additional noise between your CPAP mask and CPAP tube.

One of the Lightest Travel CPAP Machines on the Market today:
Weighing in at a mere 10.5 ounces, the Z2 is one of the lightest mini CPAP devices on the market today. Fitting easily in your hand, the Z2 Auto’s lightweight and compact design makes it simple to pack in any carry-on bag.

Seamlessly Integrated Bluetooth Allows for Advanced Sleep Data Tracing On-the-Go
Using the Nitelog App for iOS and Android, track and follow your sleep therapy success from your phone. The Z2 syncs automatically with your app via Bluetooth and enables you to share your nightly reports with your care team from anywhere.

Intuitively Adjusts to your Therapy Pressure Needs:
Unlike fixed-pressure CPAP machines, the Z2’s ramp feature adapts to your pressure needs throughout the night, ensuring you always receive the lowest necessary pressure. And to make it easier to exhale, the Z2 features an advanced proprietary breathing algorithm called Z-Breathe? pressure relief, which temporarily reduces the pressure during exhalation and helps you breathe naturally throughout the night.

Auto Start and Stop Your CPAP Therapy by Breathing:
You’re in full control with the Z2 Auto CPAP Device. To start your device, simply put on your mask and begin breathing. When you wake up, the Z2 auto detects changes in your breathing patterns and automatically stops, helping you ease into your morning.

Q. Can data be transferred from one device to another?
A. No, the data cannot be transferred from one device to another. Data on the Z1 or Z2 will be stored for the usage on the actual unit itself.

Q. Do I need to upgrade my firmware?
A. If you are having trouble connecting an iPhone 11 to Nitelog and have a Z1 or Z2 manufactured before June 1, 2020, you may need to upgrade your firmware.
All Z2 Auto CPAPs manufactured after June 1, 2020 have the new firmware already installed.
The new firmware only corrects a connection issue between the iPhone 11 and the Z1 and Z2 Autos to Nitelog.
Upgrade to the new firmware is not necessary unless you have an iPhone 11. It does not affect the performance or functionality of the Z1 or Z2.

Q. How do I change the pressure settings on my Z1 or Z2 device?
A.By law we are unable to distribute the instructions to change the pressure settings for patients. If you have questions on the appropriate pressure on your device, please contact your prescribing doctor and/or sleep specialist.

Q. How do I turn the Bluetooth on or off on my Z1 or Z2 Auto?
A.ON: Press and hold the UP ARROW while plugging the power cord into the end of the Z1/Z2 until the LCD screen reads ? bt-on
OFF: Press and hold the DOWN ARROW while plugging the power cord into the end of the Z1/Z2 until the LCD screen reads ? bt-off

Q. I have a torn outlet tube, what do I do?
A.The Z1 must be returned to replace the silicone outlet tube. The outlet tube is the white rubbery piece that sticks out of the end of the device. Please contact the distributor you purchased your Z1 from, and let them know your unit needs to be returned to the manufacturer.

Q. I just purchased a Z2 Auto. My boat has a 12 volt system. Can I use it to power the Z2 Auto?
A. The PowerShell auxiliary plug is designed to work with 12v systems. If the system drops below 12v the system may shut off.

Q. Is there a way to dim the green light on the LCD screen?
A.The dim light is on a timer and should turn off after a few moments. Unfortunately, there is no way to change the timer on the backlight of the LCD screen.

Q. My screen isn?t reading 0.0 what should I do?
A.When the Z1 or Z2 is in standby mode, the screen reads 0.0 in the pressure area. If the screen is not displaying 0.0 when turning your machine on, would indicate that it needs to be returned for repair. Please contact your provider, and they will advise you on what steps to take.

Q. My Z2 Auto is shutting off during the night. What do I do?
A. If your new Z2 Auto is randomly shutting off during the night, it may be the Auto Start/Stop feature misinterpreting a leak during the night. Turn off the Auto Start / Stop feature using the instructions below.
The Z2 is equipped with an Auto Start / Stop feature. This feature will start the treatment automatically when the mask is placed on the face and you start to breathe. It will stop the treatment after the mask has been removed. To restart the treatment, place the mask back on your face and start to breathe through the mask. The Z2 is shipped with this setting turned on.
NOTE: The Auto Start / Stop feature will stop the therapy if a large air leak is detected between the Z2 outlet and the mask. This may also happen at times when the mask is not being worn properly. This common condition should be resolved once all connections are secure, the mask is properly worn, and the Start/ Stop Button has been pushed or you start breathing into the mask.
NOTE: The Auto Start / Stop feature may not work with the use of a full face mask due to its design. In this case you will need to press the Start/Stop Button to start the therapy.
You can disable the Auto Start/ Stop Feature and start and stop the Z2 using the Middle Power Button. To do this press and hold the Up Arrow Button and Down Arrow Button at the same time until the Z-Breathe setting flashes. Release the buttons. Then press and hold the Up Arrow Button and Down Arrow Button at the same time again until AOFF-ON flashes. Release both buttons and press the Down Arrow Button to change to AOFF-OFF. Press and hold down the Middle Power Button to save the setting.
To enable the feature, repeat the steps above, but press the Up Arrow Button to change to AOFF-ON. Then press and hold down the Middle Power Button to save the setting.

Q.T he fan on my Z1 or Z2 doesn?t seem to be working, what do I do?
A. If the display screen shows your pressure, and the fan has not started blowing air within thirty seconds, then the blower has failed and the machine should be replaced. Please contact your provider and they will advise you on what steps to take.

Q. What is the minimum voltage needed to charge my PowerShell?
A. The minimum voltage you will need to charge your PowerShell is 12 volts.

Q. What is the SoClean and how does it work with my Z1/Z2?
A. We have not tested the SoClean for use with the Z1 or Z2, so we cannot recommend the use of this product for cleaning.

Q. What is the voltage needed to run the Z1/Z2?
A. The Z1 and Z2 run on electricity from 100-240V which means you will not need a converter for international travel. You will only need a plug adapter to fit the right configuration for the country you are visiting.

Q. What size tubing can be used with the Z1/Z2?
A.Our tubing comes in two different lengths- 4 feet and 6 feet slim style. They are 15 mm in diameter. You can also use standard tubing with the Z1/Z2, which is 19-22 mm diameter.

Q. Why is my pressure spiking up when I use my Z1 or Z2?
A. The most common cause of a pressure increasing, beyond what is necessary, is a leak in the system/mask. It may be a leak in the connections to the mask, or the hose. Please check to make sure these connections fit tightly.
Another reason is an excessive leak at the mask. Please make sure you have a proper seal between the mask and your face.
Check the connection of the tube adapter and the outlet tube (the rubber piece where the tube adapter connects to the machine). If the tube adapter is not properly seated in the outlet tube, the pressure sensor may not be getting the information it needs to regulate the pressure. Also check to make sure your outlet tube is not torn. If it is torn, the device will need to be returned to be repaired.
The last reason could be the Z1 may be sensing an obstruction, which reads as an apnea, and thus increasing the pressure. This could be caused by congestion, or a mask system that has very low flow rate. If you have a mask with very low flow rate, such as some of the very small nasal pillow masks, you may want to try a mask with less restriction such as a nasal mask. If none of the above are successful, please contact the provider you purchased your Z1 from.
